Arrive to a King bed + Bunk beds (sleeps 4) separated by an 8' tall privacy wall with cozy clean sheets, literally steps from a noisy trout stream.  A high-end cooler is your fridge. A Weber charcoal grill is your kitchen. USB powered lighting and power chargers are provided in addition to linens, pillows, towels and toilet paper.  There are screens for the windows. We provide moist biodegradable camping towelettes for cleaning and deodorizing your body (or take a dip in the stream) and, of course, there is a PRIVATE port-o-toilet specific to your dome, fire pit & hammock(s).

WHAT IS GLAMPING UNPLUGGED?

Glamping Unplugged was founded on the premise of "unplugging." No WiFi. No cell service. No plumbing. No electricity. NO PROBLEM! Unplug from life and recharge. Step a few feet outside your comfort zone and enjoy a planned, nature-immersive experience, referred to as "camping simplified" because we have already thought of this and that. Rookies can succeed with little planning & gear while experienced campers, well, welcome to next level!

@GlampingUnplugged is primitive camping at an unprecedented level. We do not disappoint!   We have created a space for your much-needed digital detox on a beautiful tract of land that allows for privacy, unlike any other campground (only 3 campsites!).  Immerse yourself in nature and unplug ... step a few inches outside of your comfort zone and you will thank us later.   Tent stove and insulation will be installed for WINTER CAMPING (Nov-Apr, we will provide the firewood)!

FLEETWOOD is our new camground, home to only 2 domes on 12 acres with 1/4 mile of creek frontage shared. Yes, we will be adding more structures, just not sure when :) The two domes are maybe 50 yards apart, separated by levels and plenty of trees. No shared amenities and contactless entry. Park and walk right to your Dome.

You will have acreage to explore, 1200+ feet of creek frontage for your family to unplug, recharge and enjoy and to explore! Swimming holes, fishing holes and waterfalls. Unplug! Arrive with an open mind and simply go with the unplugged, eco-friendly experience.

We are located in the town of Fleetwood NC, just off Railroad Grade Road (yes, that famous road), next door to Boone NC, the center of the High Country and only 15 minutes into the quaint town of West Jefferson (breweries, shops, restaurants, etc)! Location, location, location!
